Educational institutions around the world reflect the communities they serve. And today, learning happens everywhere — not just in classrooms. Through social change, individuals can use their voice and be inspired to make a difference in their communities.
Apple launched the Taking Action on Racial Equity and Justice Learning Challenge Series, which provides a set of learning-based challenges and conversation guides. These guides are designed to help leaders, educators, and parents create a dialogue about race and injustice in a way that’s empowering and accessible for all learners.
The third challenge in the series — Create a Better World Through Environmental Justice — explores the idea of environmental justice and the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people. It also helps you discover how you can make sure everyone in your community has access to a healthy environment to live, learn, and work in, and how you can build solutions to share with the world.
Educators from our Apple Professional Learning team will host free virtual conferences to help you continue the journey of making lasting social change.
The virtual conferences will be held on Thursday, April 29.
