Join this panel discussion with members of industry group Catalyst Connection to discuss how teachers can prepare students for the future of work in various industries, including manufacturing. Catalyst Connection seeks to form partnerships between industries and educators focused on the rapid shifts happening in real industries.

We will discuss topics like Industry 4.0 and emerging technologies, such as robotics/automation, internet of things (IoT), 3D printing, cyber-security, virtual/augmented reality, and digital fabrication. These technologies are radically changing industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, retail, and more. We’ll also showcase the student learning from Tuesday’s “Smart Home” activity to discuss pedagogy and practical teaching tips.

*Catalyst Connection is generously raffling two (2) Premium Hummingbird Robotics Kits during this session. All those who attend will be automatically entered for a chance to win!!
