IDEAs to Amplify Student Voice

Each year, since 1990, Illinois Digital Educators Alliance has held a student technology showcase at the Capitol building in Springfield, Illinois. At this event, students and teachers set up demonstrations to show elected officials, business leaders, and the general public how technology is being used in schools. Due to COVID-19, we had to make the unfortunate decision to cancel our Amplify Innovation Student Showcase in May of 2020. We wanted to make sure that Illinois students still had the opportunity to tell their stories; to give them a voice. Join twenty-three students from across Illinois as they share stories of how they use technology to learn, create, and design in their classroom and in their community. These students will inspire you with their ideas for how to amplify student voice.
