Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Elementary Education Endorsement and Math, Science, and/or Technology Specialist Endorsement (possess or working towards)

Under direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and the Technology Integration Team, the STEM teacher is responsible for the delivery and implementation of STEM-orientated instruction through project-based learning methods. The STEM teacher will encourage student engagement in small-group learning experiences to solve problems through collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking. STEM will be a trimester course for all students K-8 in each of the district's three school.
