IDEA began work on this book in May 2020 when their student technology showcase was cancelled as a result of COVID-19. Each year, since 1990, IDEA has held their AMPLIFY Innovation Student Showcase at the Capitol Building in Springfield, Illinois to allow students and teachers the opportunity to show elected officials, business leaders, and the general public how technology is being used in schools across the state. After the cancellation, IDEA wanted to make sure that Illinois students still had the opportunity to tell their stories; to give them a voice. In this book, IDEAs to Amplify Student Voice, twenty-three students from across Illinois share their stories about the innovative, creative, and inspirational ways they use technology in their classrooms, communities, and home environments to transform their own learning experiences. |

In these books, Illinois educators tell their stories about how they inspire their students, transform their environment(s), and connect with other educators and classrooms around the world. |
