2026-27 PD Opportunities

We’re still building IDEA’s 2026–27 professional-learning offerings, and we’re so excited about where they’re headed.

Rather than presenting isolated, one-and-done events, we’re organizing opportunities into connected learning “spotlight communities.” These experiences will overlap across all regional communities as well and hopefully they can spark those local conversations.  Each Spotlight Community will offer multiple ways to explore a topic, apply new ideas, reflect with others, and continue learning over time.

Choose ONLY the opportunities that best support your interests, goals, and time, we know it’s impossible to do everything!

Some of the experiences currently under development by our members and partners include:

  • Teaching in the AI Age: Designing relevant, accessible, and engaging learning for a connected world
  • Eduprotocols: Using technology intentionally to strengthen instruction, engagement, and assessment
  • Vibe Coding for Educators: Learning how to make and design our own solutions to meet our personal and professional needs.
  • Digital Innovation Across the Disciplines: Applying technology meaningfully in art, music, social studies, science, and more
  • Future-Ready Preservice Educators: Preparing new teachers to use technology confidently, purposefully, and responsibly

More details are coming soon. For now, consider this a preview of an IDEA learning ecosystem designed to meet educators where they are, honor their time, and help build meaningful personal connections and practices grow.
