What We Do
The Learner Agency Spotlight Community brings Illinois educators together to explore how students can take a more active role in their learning through meaningful voice, choice, ownership, and responsibility.
Members examine practical ways to help students set goals, make decisions, pursue their interests, reflect on their progress, and grow into confident, curious, and independent lifelong learners. Together, we will thoughtfully explore when traditional practices, digital-age learning, and emerging technologies can strengthen learner agency and create classroom experiences in which every student is prepared to lead their learning and positively influence the world around them.
